About Us

The Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization made up of business and professional people from the represented communities and surrounding area. The major responsibility of the Chamber of Commerce is the communities' economic well-being. It works to increase wealth and prosperity by facilitating the growth of existing business and fostering new ones. This new wealth can be directed toward establishing and improving civic, educational, and cultural facilities in order to create the proper business climate to attract more business and industry.

The Chamber meets this responsibility by examining community needs to determine what must be done to make it a better place to live and do business. The Chamber develops a workable approach to economic development. The Chamber organizes and develops the necessary leadership to guarantee that the organization will become an effective force for expansion and growth. The Chamber functions through a variety of working committees to develop programs and create the dollars to improve and accomplish its goals.
