Roanoke, Texas, August 4, 2015 – Argyle joins the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce, the seventh community to become a member of this regional alliance that encompasses Haslet, Justin, Northlake, Roanoke Trophy Club and Westlake, as well as areas in and around the Alliance Regional Airport, I-35 West and Texas Motor Speedway.
The intention of the chamber is to create, promote and enhance opportunity and growth for the business community in this region. “The Town of Argyle joining the chamber enhances this positive message of our mission. From small businesses to large corporations and now seven municipalities, we promote a regional economic opportunity and advocate the interests of the business community,” said Sally Michalak, president and CEO, Northwest Metroport Chamber. “Becoming a larger regional chamber is a result of great partnerships, and we appreciate Argyle for recognizing this dynamic.”
The announcement was made at the August 4 monthly membership meeting. Argyle’s Mayor Pro Tem Joey Hasty and Town Manager Paul Frederiksen were in attendance. “Ours is already a dynamic, progressive region. We’re looking forward to partnering with like-minded municipalities and leveraging our collective synergies to stimulate even more opportunities for growth,” Frederiksen said.
The Town of Argyle will receive Community Partner benefits of the NW Metroport Chamber including participation in a regional presence at expo opportunities that attract national and international interest; an annual chamber-hosted event for the Communities specifically targeting developers, investors, builders and stakeholders; and a variety of events and publications to stimulate business, development, legislative interest and regional cooperation. In addition to representation at the monthly chamber luncheons, Argyle will take part in the annual “State of Our Communities” program on October 6, 2015, featuring news, updates and highlights from each of the seven communities.
Through the commitment and involvement of its members, the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce provides a strong business leadership — second to none — for one of the fastest-growing regions in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. For more information, visit www.nwmetroportchamber.org.
