Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce Announces Winners at Annual Awards Gala

ROANOKE, Texas (January 30, 2017) – The Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners presented at its annual gala, an event that recognizes the businesses, non-profits and individuals who provided outstanding service within the Chamber and the seven communities the Chamber represents: Argyle, Haslet, Justin, Northlake, Roanoke, Trophy Club and Westlake.

 

“We are proud to honor these award recipients, who each deserve special recognition for the support they have provided our chamber and the Northwest Metroport region,” said Sally Michalak, president and CEO of the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce.

 

Large Business of the Year – The Thompson Group at Classic Chevrolet

 

Small Business of the Year – FastSigns Alliance 

 

Rookie of the Year – Dr. Tom Amon, HealthSource Chiropractic & Progressive Rehab 

 

Director of the Year – Tina Patel, Comfort Suites of Roanoke

 

Leadership Spirit Award – Tina Patel, Comfort Suites of Roanoke

(Honors an outstanding contribution by an individual who leads by example and has exemplified limitless energy in the chamber community in 2016.)

 

Regional Initiative Award – Hillwood, Developer of AllianceTexas

(Honors a for-profit business that contributed to the overall development of the Northwest Metroport region in 2016 and the unique accomplishments that set them apart.)

 

Heart of the Region Award – Community Storehouse

(Honors a non-profit business that contributed to the community in 2016 and the unique accomplishments that set them apart.)

 

John Albanese Ambassador of the Year- Leslie Morris, Synetra

(A special recognition awarded only when a deserving candidate is identified. Honors an individual who delivers above-and-beyond service in the role of Ambassador for the Chamber.)
